Dear Julliard, this is your future

Yes, I bring you yet another Eli dancing video. Sunday evening as I was contorting my body to finish up a final coat of paint in our half bath, John and Eli were entertaining themselves with a little after dinner dancing. Eli has recently taught himself to twirl in a circle like a "delicate" ballerina. I cannot watch this video without laughing, and I've seen it many many times. What a graceful little guy we're raising.

(You might want to stop watching after the first minute, my video editing program isn't working and I couldn't cut this down)

Garage Rock

Remember this post? Well Eli has been working and improving on his dance prowess since then. I now present to you the future million dollar winner (and don't forget about your parents) of America's Got Talent.

Shake your groove thing

On our way to the park earlier this week, Eli, my niece Lily and I were jamming to some Sunday school praise songs. (Yes, I have fully accepted the fact that, as a mom, I no longer get full control over the choice of car music. Not if I want to win coolest mommy and aunt of the year, which I do.) Anyways, Eli starting showing off his latest dance move, which I call the "no" shake. I captured this quick video when we pulled up to a red light.
*Note: In the background you can enjoy my 3 yo niece explaining how her daddy tries to skip over certain songs on the Little Praisers CD and how she tells him "NO! Daddy". *

Meanwhile, Eli is just jammin away. Is it too early to sign him up for dance class??
